Sotic have broken new ground with the provision of an online store for Scottish Premier League football team Heart of Midlothian

Sotic have provided the club with a full integrated e-commerce solution that will work in real-time with the club's stock control and in-store management package provided by Microsoft and RMS (Scotland), mallowing for a speedy service and total accuracy of orders.

The new online store has, like the main site has been designed by the club's Marketing and Communications team with Hearts specifically in mind by the . It also includes a range of new facilities for supporters, including the ability to run a significant range of new 'exclusively online' promotions.

"We are delighted to be making this announcement," Hearts managing director Campbell Ogilvie commented. "The new online store is striking in appearance, and allows us to demonstrate the quality and breadth of product available in what we believe is an easy to navigate website.

"The fact that it works in tandem with our stock control system allows supporters to see when a product is in or out of stock, which, with all but the very biggest clubs in the UK, is not usually possible in 'real-time'

The online store, which is available for shopping 24 hours a day continues to afford supporters 100% safe and secure access to shopping on the internet.

Sotic director John Ludlam added, "Sotic has enjoyed the challenge of meeting Heart of Midlothian's strategic vision for a fully-integrated online shop.

"Staff now have the ability to access orders and edit the online shop from their tills with real time stock control. This has rapidly reduced the amount of processes to fulfil orders. The new shop design and functionality will enhance customer experience and is highly adaptable to meet Hearts' long-term needs."
